The Riviera waterfront in Croatia, a popular destination for millions of vacationers each year, is now illuminated with warm-white outdoor LED lighting fixtures. Schreder, a leading outdoor lighting manufacturer, has created the custom streetlight design that now adorns the waterfront walkways.

The lamps use warm-white XLamp XR-E LEDs from Cree. The LED walkway incorporates 180 XR-E LEDs. These LEDs produce up to 124 lumens at 3,000K.

Designers stated that the Cree XLamp XR-E LED lights are “the only warm white power LED with the performance characteristics that meet the brightness, color stability and uniformity requirements of this installation.” Designers are happy with the ability to use a more energy efficient light source in such a prominent area of the country.
