Viva LightFair 2008
LightFair 2008 took place last week in what could be considered America’s City of Lights: Las Vegas. Billing itself as the “premier annual lighting industry trade show and conference for architectural and commercial lighting products and services,” LightFair 2008 offered workshops, the unveiling of new lighting products, and keynote addresses from industry leaders. The opening key note speaker for this year’s conference was Dr. David Irvine Halliday, director of the Light Up the World Foundation, a non-profit group dedicated to improving the lives of the world’s poor through solid state lighting.
