September Outdoor Highlights
Summer is on its way out, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t great outdoor activities you can still enjoy. The following are a few of Septembers’ best hunting, fishing and hiking options available to the Pacific Northwest’s most adventuresome. Enjoy!
Sept. 11: Annual Fishing Day for Children with Disabilities
The Tillamook Anglers put on this great outdoor event for young anglers with disabilities. Fishing and other outdoor activities are great ways to encourage exercise and boost confidence in your young ones.
When: 10 AM to 3 PM
Where: Whiskey Creek Volunteer Fish Hatchery, 7660 Whiskey Creek Rd., Tillamook

Sept. 11: Ducks Unlimited Annual Banquet
The Sauvie Island chapter of Ducks Unlimited is hosting the its annual banquet at Island Oaks Farm. This year will feature food, an auction and a raffle. Don’t miss it!

Sept. 18 – 19: Gun and Knife Show
This event is aimed at gun and knife enthusiasts, but it should be fun for the whole family! Brought to you by Collector’s West Productions, the Gun and Knife Show will be held at the Cowlitz County Fairgrounds in Washington.
When: 9/18, 9 AM to 5 PM, 9/19, 9 AM to 3 PM
