Michigian Businesses opt to Install LED bulbs
Southeast Michigan’s Metromode reports today that some local business owners are cutting energy costs by installing LED bulbs. Jerry Belanger, owner of the Park Bar in Detroit, reports that he paid for the LED bulb’s higher cost in just four months of lower energy bills. The Motor City Casino in Ann Arbor is also listed as being entirely lit by LEDs.
But consumers don’t have to make such sweeping changes to notice lower energy costs. Replacing just one commonly-used light can make a big difference. Voracious readers, for instance, might consider upgrading their to a new reading lamp, like the large Photonium lamp shown at right. With this lamp’s brilliant, clean light, even reluctant readers will linger over the written page.
