LED hitting LCD Panels

Samsung Monitor at CeBit by WichoSamsung Electronics is coming out with their own proprietary LED-backlit panels for LCD monitors. They announced earlier this month that the 24-inch LCD panels will have the same superior color quality as most high-end televisions available today.

Conventional monitors have a saturation level of around 72 percent of NTSC standards while this new LED monitor will provide a color saturation of 111 percent. It’s clear that the benefits of LED are being incorporated into every facit of our technological environment. It will be interested to watch how computers, home electronics and business adapt LED into existing products.
