LED Christmas Lights In More Colors

Holiday Creations / Diogen Lighting, Inc. and Evident Technologies have come to an agreement that would enable quantum-dot LEDS to be sold in the seasonal “light-strand” market in the United States and in Canada. What does this mean to you? This means that you will be able to get LED Christmas lights in never-available before colors like peach, lime and aqua. These new LED colors are possible through the quantum dot technology, or semiconductor nanocrystals.
Many home owners, especially those that decorate their home heavily with lights during the holidays, have moved to using LED stands of light because they are so much more energy efficient than traditional incandescent bulbs. However, traditional LED technology limits the colors available. This new technology breaks that barrier.
So keep you eyes open for LED light strands this Christmas and start thinking about how you may be able to incorporate some new colors into your home Christmas lights this year.
