A new Hindu temple in Lilburn, Georgia (USA) has been designed with interior and exterior LED accent lighting designed by lighting specialists Lamina and North Star Lighting. Lamina Titan and Atlas LEDs combined with North Star Lighting floodlights make up the majority of the over 2,000 LED light fixtures placed both inside and outside the temple.

The building is made of limestone and Italian Carrara marble and the interior is decorated with pink sandstone. The stone was all hand-carved in India and shipped in pieces to Georgia, where it required reassembling according to ancient dictate. The lighting took a great amount of care and technical and logistical planning because the building of a template must follow specific guidelines outlined in thousands of year old scripture.
