Earth Hour: Lights Out March 28
On Saturday, March 28 at 8:30pm in whatever time zone you are in, millions of people are expected to turn off their lights for an hour to raise awareness for the amount of wasted energy we create every day and the need for better energy use solutions to help reduce the impacts of global warming. The event, called Earth Hour started in Australia two years ago. The goal of organizers is to have a billion people turn off their lights for the hour. Major cities are expected to join in – the Eiffel Tower will go dark to honor the event.
