I have a cousin that has wanted to be a policeman for as long as I can remember. The notion of defending the law, getting the bad guys and getting the cool toys was an awe-inspiring profession, in his opinion. I’ve mentioned before that my fondest memories of fishing are of watching my dad spend the three hour fishing trip on the banks of the lake untangling and rehooking our lines, pulling hooks out of catfish for us and generally huffing and puffing under his breath in complete exasperation for the sport.
