Casey Shea and His Adirondack Hike for the Brain Injury Association of Vermont

Casey Shea is providing the perfect example of taking a loved sport, hobby, goal or dream and making it not only fun for yourself but also a benefit to others. Shea, a University of Vermont graduate, will be spending his summer weekends hiking 46 of the Adirondack Mountain peaks to raise money for the Brain Injury Association of Vermont.

“I have long been fascinated by the High Peaks region that looms over Lake Champlain but have never stepped foot into them,” writes Shea on his web site, http://www.walkforbiavt.com/.  “It seems like an excellent opportunity to introduce myself to this beautiful mountain range.”

Casey Shea is looking for sponsors to help him raise money for the Brain Injury Association. Sponsorship can be on a per mountain peak basis or a flat donation.  For more information on how to sponsor Shea, to view the list of peaks he plans to hike, or even sign up to hike along with Casey, visit the Casey Shea web site.

The Brain Injury Association of Vermont has been set up to create a better future through brain injury prevention, research, education and advocacy.
