Hunters are often looking for more durable flashlights that are both incredibly bright while also being fairly light-weight and easy to carry. To keep a pack light, you need something that only ways a few ounces but you also need a light beam strong enough to cut through the darkest of nights, forests and canyons. There are a lot of flashlights out there that sell themselves as good quality outdoor or tactical lights but many lack in one way or another - very bright but very heavy, light weight but not powerful enough, durable but no versatility in the light beam.
