Everyone who lives in the Northwest knows about that timely fog cloud. All of a sudden you hit it like a patch of black ice on the highway. There’s no way of watching it roll on in, you just have to expect it and prepared for it! This past week the fog has taken over the Willamette Valley late in the evening on into the early afternoon. The haze is eerie, beautiful and crisp. It is also a bear to work through.

Be smart when it comes to which accessory lighting you use, and save more by unplugging all indoor appliances.There’s no reason to keep everything running while you’re out on a jog, running an errand or walking the dog. Fisherman are getting antsy to get back out on the river and warm up for the late Winter and early Spring fishing season. The Parks and Recs departments around Oregon are eager to get the experienced and not so experienced out on the water as well. To do so, they are putting together several different Fly Fishing classes and seminars to warm the anglers up and help them learn a few new tricks of the trade.
