Each of those bulbs will be utilized in a 2,668 triangular waterford Crystal pattern to create one of the most diverse and spectacular lighting creations in modern history. The first net zero energy consumption destination will be developed this Spring with the help of Philips Color Kinetics. North Dumpling, a three-acre private island off the coast of Connecticut, is scheduled to be converted entirely to LEDs using Philips as its official lighting provider. The self-sustaining island is scheduled to be unveiled to the public in the spring during a fundraiser for FIRST, For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology.

Big game hunt raffle tickets are now on sale and can be purchased online or with a point of sale license agent. These raffle tickets offer hunters the opportunity for an extended 2009 elk, deer, bighorn sheep, Rocky Mountain goat, and pronghorn antelope hunting season. The extended season will run from September 1, 2009 – November 30, 2009 in several wildernss areas throughout Oregon. The winners will be drawn on May 16, 2009.
