Oregon: Hiking the Oregon Coast Trail Seminar

REI in Tigard is hosting a presentation by Ken Patton, experienced NW hiker, who will speak on his 23 day hike on the Oregon Coast Trail. This is a free event where Patton will show pictures of his experience as well as share his tips for planning and packing for hiking this beautiful trailway.

Do you feel like there just are not enough colors to create the perfect Christmas wonderland of your dreams? Well, a couple of companies have worked out an agreement so that you can get all the Christmas light colors you could have ever wanted this year.
Cree Inc. announced Wednesday that its fiscal 1Q09 revenue was $140.4 million. The fiscal year ended September 28, 2008. This revenue is a 24% increase from its 1Q08 revenue and 3% increase over its 4Q08 revenue.
Austrian professional lighting company, Zumtobel Group, has teamed up with Cree in a long-term agreement that will give Zumtobel the ability to sell Cree’s recessed downlights in the European market. The two companies hope the agreement will increase the sell of the 230V version of Cree’s LR6 luminaire by 50,000 units in its first year. Coast LED flashlights and lamps utilize Cree’s LED light bulbs in many of their models.
