Cree Launches Smallest Lighting Class LEDs
Tuesday, August 19th, 2008
Cree, Inc. has come out with two new lighting-class LEDs that provide the same high-performance and reliability of their other LEDs but in a 80% smaller package. One of the new XLamp LEDS is just 3.45 millimeters square by 2 millimeters high which makes it ideal for backlighting, signage, indoor, outdoor and portable lighting applications which are moving to smaller and lighter form factors.

The Lewis and Clark National Historical Park will be holding several ranger-led hikes on the Fort to Sea Trail on Wednesdays through Sunday from now until August 31st. The hikes will vary everyday but are open for all ages and difficulty levels. Hikers are encouraged to dress for the weather with comfortable hiking shoes. They are also asked to bring water and food for lunch and plan to be prepared for a potential emergency, as a precaution.
