Southern Oregon: Browder Ridge Wildflower Hike
Monday, June 30th, 2008
Browder Ridge is one of several ridges and peaks in the Old Cascades that offer diverse terrain perfect for northwest Hiking. Oregon Wild has planned a 3.2 mile climb through this beautiful old forest and open wildflower meadows to a stunning viewpoint of the Cascades. The hike has been given a moderate to strenuous hike with a maximum elevation reach of 2000 feet. Registered hikers will depart from Eugene and carpool to the starting point of the hike.

Drivers of older cars are a special breed. They’re often boastful of the hundreds of thousands of miles they’ve put on their car, and with good reason–it’s not easy to maintain an automobile for that long. Rather than face years of loan payments, many of these drivers are happy to roll down the window manually, eschewing fancy new features for dependability.
