New Book Offers Backpacking Tips from Canadian Naturalist

His hard-earned pearls of wisdom are now yours for the reading in his new book The Canadian Hiker’s and Backpacker’s Handbook: Your How-to Guide for Hitting the Trails, Coast to Coast. The first half of the book is dedicated to an activity that many people never stop to consider: walking. This makes sense: backpacking requires hours of hiking, so a correct walking technique can make or break a trip through the back country.
