Colorado Fishing Regulation Change due to Rise in Hooking Mortality

The Colorado Wildlife Commission has notified the public that they have approved changing the fishing bag limit at Antero Reservoir in South Park. The change is in response to reports of excessive fish mortality since the reservoir was reopened to the public in July. The new regulation changes the bag limit to two trout of any size; the previous limit was four, with one over 16 inches. The change is effective immediately and will be in place for the next 90 days.

The Puma Shark | Hunting Knife Product Review

I thought that I would start pointing out some quality knife products available online these days as the Fall hunting season starts to come into view.  I know a lot of fisherman may have already purchased their gear for the summer but there may be some hunting enthusiasts just starting to realize that an equipment update may be in order.  Look for more knife reviews in the coming weeks.

Fishing the Caribbean

I saw this and thought it was pretty cleverly done. Set to the pulse pounding soundtrack of the Pirates of the Caribbean, adventurous fishermen hook and pull in several species of fish (including small sharks!) from the Caribbean Sea. Watching the spectacular movement of some of the incredibly large fish they pull in with the backdrop of the crystal blue Caribbean, you can see why this family of anglers felt like swashbuckling adventurers.

New Hunting Land In Washington Opening for 2007 Deer Season

Washington hunters looking for new hunting grounds have had a large piece of property opened up to them. The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife has recently purchased a large cattle ranch in Okanogan County that will be opened for limited deer hunting this fall.

OSRAM LED Training Courses Announced
