Land Donated to the Cumberland Trail State Park, Tennessee

Over 300 acres of land were donated to the Cumberland Trail State Park this week.  Plateau Properties donated the land which includes the top of Brady Mountain, Brady Bluffs and Salt Peter Cave. The Cumberland Trail is a unique state park because it connects some great natural treasures across the state. The Cumberland Trail begins at Cumberland Gap State Park and runs south to Chickamauga National Military Park.  It includes more than 11,000 acres and 150 miles of completed trails.

Possible World Record Turkey Tagged

Greenway Sojourn Marks Opening of New Trail

Calling all biking enthusiasts!

The 6th Annual Greenway Sojourn, June 23 – 30, 2007, will mark the Grand Opening Ride of the Pittsburgh to Washington, D.C. Trail.  This route, the longest multi-purpose trail in the US, will take 8 days and expects to have participation of over 500 cyclists.

When looking for a headlamp, choosing the right type to suit your needs are of course key.  LED is the best in terms of battery and bulb longevity as well as ease of use, halogen has a stronger light beam for extreme uses.  There is however on addition thing you should consider before buying. That’s the reflection system for the headlamp.
